My name is Karissa, and I'm a US service coordinator here to guide you through the requirements for completing EPA form 35 20-one for on-road use. This form is necessary when shipping any item equipped with a gas or diesel engine intended for on-road use. On page one, you'll notice that several fields need to be filled out. We'll begin with field one, which asks for the port code. This refers to the port where the shipment will cross. If you don't have this information, you can leave the field blank. However, it's recommended to include it if available. The entry date, field two, is the expected date when the shipment will cross. It's important to note that this date doesn't have to be exact. Estimate it to the best of your ability. Field three is for the customs entry number. If this number hasn't been created yet, you can leave it blank. Field four requires the vehicle identification number (VIN). Look for the EPA sticker on the engine to find this information. Make sure to include it on the form. Field five is for the manufacturer date, which should also be indicated on the EPA sticker on the engine. Include the month and year of manufacture. Field six is for the manufacturer. This information should also be listed on the EPA sticker. Field seven requires the model, which can be found on the EPA sticker. Make sure to include the relevant model information. Moving on to field eight, an importer may be necessary for specific circumstances. Review the related codes provided on the form to determine if this field needs to be completed.
